ABSTRACT

In this paper, we study the epidemic situation in Kazakhstan and neighboring countries, taking into account territorial features in emergency situations. As you know, the excessive concentration of the population in large cities and the transition to a world without borders created ideal conditions for a global pandemic. The article also provides the results of a detailed analysis of the solution approaches to modeling the development of epidemics by types of models (basic SIR model, modified SEIR models) and the practical application of the SIR model using an example (Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and other neighboring countries). The obtained processing results are based on statistical data from open sources on the development of the COVID-19 epidemic. The result obtained is a general solution of the SIR-model of the spread of the epidemic according to the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method. The parameters β, γ, which are indicators of infection, recovery, respectively, were calculated using data at the initial phase of the Covid 2019 epidemic. An analysis of anti-epidemic measures in neighboring countries is given. © 2022 Copyright for this paper by its authors. ABSTRACT

Currently, we are witnessing the active introduction of modern digital technologies in the field of education. One of the main reasons for this was the transition to distance learning due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. More and more virtual labs, virtual textbooks, as well as educational platforms that allow students to acquire the necessary skills and abilities remotely using the Internet, are being used in the educational process. The most promising educational platform is an interactive mobile learning platform. It has several advantages, among which one can especially single out the convenience of learning due to its interactivity and organization of the studied material. The application of augmented and virtual reality allows for increasing the effectiveness of classes. These technologies provide another level of interaction and material perception by students. However, VR and its high level of immersion require special equipment and more actions from the user while AR is cheaper and more affordable, but still interactive and has great visual aids. The aim of the paper is to demonstrate how augmented reality can be used for radio engineering disciplines on the example of an interactive mobile platform. This article discusses the process of developing a mobile platform that allows studying the material of radio engineering courses using augmented reality technology. The work also contains the results of a survey conducted among the students who used it as a part of their class activities. In addition, sections of the article contain a description of the project development process, its structure, international experience, and the conclusions. © 2022, International Journal of Interactive Mobile Technologies. ABSTRACT

The rapid changes caused by the pandemic worldwide has affected every sphere of our lives and accelerated the digitalization process. With the constant increase in the computing power of tablets and smartphones, new opportunities for their use in trade, industry, medicine, and education have emerged. Our current transition to Industrialization 4.0, supported mainly by mobile technologies, has helped preserve this condition. The authors have researched this area to implement the project, studied various approaches and experiences during COVID-19. The authors attempted to observe relevant world experience and hypothesize that mobile devices have a high potential for forming a new effective learning model when adequately integrated. The experience of researchers from different countries is highlighted, in which the authors share their observations and discoveries made after the world moved to distance learning in spring 2020. This article focuses on the experience of developing a mobile application for distance physics learning in higher and secondary educational institutions using augmented reality technology. The article consistently describes how the authors have made through the development process, including the background research and testing the product among users. The paper gives paper the project implementation process, the rationale for the used tools, and a description of the various stages of development. A student survey supports the proposed hypothesis, and the article also includes an analysis of the responses. The paper highlights the advantage of using digital educational tools, which have shown significant importance during the unplanned closure of schools and universities due to the coronavirus. Our future work lies in the improvements of research design and application optimization. © 2022. All Rights Reserved.

ABSTRACT

The digital transformation of education is one of the trends in the world's leading educational systems and an important resource for the development of education. Digitalization in the field of domestic education has received special advancement because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the development of the digital economy and education is currently one of the main priorities of the state policy of our country. The development of digital technologies stimulates the formation of a digital educational environment and, as a result, increases the potential of distance learning, where a special role is assigned to the development of educational platforms. So, at present, many higher educational institutions, to rethink and transform the educational process, are in search of effective educational digital technologies and educational platforms that will provide a high level of training for graduates within the framework of distance education, which has been actively introduced as a result of the current pandemic. The authors are the developers of such a digital educational platform for students of the RET specialty to study the basic parameters of a satellite earth station, the features of the propagation of microwave and EHF radio waves, and an assessment of the energy budget of satellite radio channels. This article is devoted to computer modeling of an element of radio engineering systems - microwave reflector antenna. The developed computer model of the reflector antenna will be included in the developed digital educational platform as one of its elements. © 2021 ACM.
